NINE is a new project in Margate. It’s currently a terraced house in need of rennovation. It was built in 1868 and has been a guest house, African church, and most recently a squat. When we bought it the electricity and gas supplies had been physically cut off – no meters – and all the copper central heating and water pipes had been stolen for scrap. This blog will share our journey of bringing the house to life as we strip back of layers of paint, paper and dust. Here you’ll be able to watch NINE become a place to stay, eat, and enjoy the best of contemporary culture by the rugged Margate coastline once again.

Well done Dan – so whats it to become when it’s done? A youth hostel? A theatre? A tea shop? A travel book shop? Looks very big and glamourous.
